Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival

TSDG's branding moved this popular film festival into a year-round presence, elevating the festival's international profile and giving the FLIFF team an effective and eye-catching brand.

Previously the look tended to revolve entirely around the festival event itself. FLIFF also runs South Florida's only year-round arthouse cinema, which needed to be incorporated into the wider family. There was a real need for brand discipline and cohesion to form a cohesive whole, brand-wise. There was also a requirement to move away from the cliches of beach life (starfish and conches) and to give a sense of heat and of artistry.

TSDG's aim was to create a strong, robust look that gave the festival a foundation to grow year on year. And also create a set of visuals that were genuinely artistic and unique. We had some fun on this one!
