This site was developed in 1999 as a meeting place for British expatriates from the UK county of Yorkshire. It is an extremely successful site and features a busy discussion forum where people from all over the world get together to talk about everything under the sun - a true online community. An interesting aspect to the discussion forum is its genealogy section where readers and members from all over the world help each other trace their family history.

The site has many interesting features and many of its visitors set it as their homepage as it provides up-to-the-minute news, interactive games and various articles which update on a daily basis.

It also has an enormous directory of links about the Yorkshire area, providing a valuable resource.
